Ancient Acres
Dig deep into the fossil records and discover bones and other archaeological finds, which the goal of assembling all six pieces of a T-Rex fossil! Use profit from your finds to upgrade your digging abilities in a unique minigame, where you must dig around the fossil to excavate it intact, in a sort of cross between Minesweeper and Tetris.
Each of your tools has unique properties. The magnifying glass can be used to check whether or not there's a fossil below a specific tile, without breaking it. You can then go in with the chisel to carve around the edges of the object to uncover it! The hammer has a similar effect as the chisel, but creates a shockwave around it that breaks tiles while not damaging fossils. However, the hammer costs two turns instead of just one.
*There is a known bug with the hammer, where you have to purchase it twice before it becomes unlocked. Sorry about that, it'll be fixed post jam! There are also a couple rare crashes with a couple of the items. This'll also be fixed as soon as the rating period ends!*

Hey, I’m building a pixel-level world editor that might help fellow itch pixel devs: https://digiverse.life
I made this while surviving without food or a home. If you're curious, I’d be grateful for any support or feedback. Even a small share or kind word helps me keep going.
The digging minigame is fun and offers lots of diversity through the use of the purchasable upgrades! It also looks awesome and I love how everything moves in the wind!
Thank you!
